False eyelashes add extra impact to your make-up look. Sometimes your make-up can just look incomplete with them!

Almost every brand these days will have their own sets of false eyelashes. But which brands give you quality with an affordable price tag?

When I purchase lashes, the first thing I'll look for is a brand that is affordable.

I know many people love MAC's eyelashes and so do I. However, when shopping for my clients, MAC has never been my go-to place for lashes just because they're a little too pricey (AUD $18/1 pair).. and as a Make-Up Artist, I tend to purchase my lashes in bulk.

Now that said, these eyelashes are of amazing quality! Nothing too surprising when it comes to MAC..

Buying lashes for myself, I might splurge a little and purchase 2 or 3 MAC ones.

So here they are, my top 3 favourite MAC lashes (featured in the image above):

▸ 31 LASH - these are normal eyelash length and are great to add fullness to an everyday look.

▸ 21 LASH - these lashes are quite full and are perfect if you want to add length or volume.

▸ 4 LASH - these are natural in length and have a nice wispy look to them. A personal favourite.

MAC Lashes are all handmade and there are a variety of different styles that will suit any look - natural, dramatic and everything in between.

When it comes to all the different lash brands around, another personal favourite of mine would definitely have to be House of Lashes. These just take the cake for quality and affordability.. and I mean come on, have you seen how super cute the packaging is too! There are so many styles available from light to medium to dense, as well as, individual lashes.

Look after your lashes well and you'll get more wear out of them. Be sure to place your lashes back in the packaging to avoid any dust settling on them.
